The Heaven and Hell 2007 Tour was a global concert tour past Heaven & Hell in support of Black Sabbath'due south The Dio Years compilation CD.[1] [2]
History [edit]
The idea for a 2007 Heaven & Hell concert bout was brought about when Rhinoceros records informed Tony Iommi's management that they would like to include previously unreleased material for the Dio Years compilation.[3] After information technology emerged that no suitable material was available, Iommi contacted Dio and suggested they tape some new songs together.[iii] Later the successful recording sessions, the ring decided to tour.[3]

Opening acts [edit]
Heaven & Hell had various support acts. In the US Queensrÿche and Alice Cooper[5] after Rob Zombie - who had been confirmed equally a U.s.a. opener - was replaced past Cooper.,[half-dozen] though Alice Cooper was not actually an opening act, his Psycho-Drama bout dates were juxtaposed with theirs. Lamb of God and Iced World were the supports at UK concerts.[seven] Canadian dates were supported by Megadeth and Down. During the Australian bout, the band Down led by ex Pantera pb singer Phil Anselmo were the supporting act. In May, Albany NY, Megadeth opened.
Tour DVD [edit]
Live from Radio Urban center Music Hall was recorded on 30 March 2007. The prove was the first American show the line-up performed in 15 years.[8]
